Opportunities To Help Your Local School!
Nothing is more contagious than enthusiasm and a positive
attitude. Whatever your group or organization is setting out to accomplish must
begin with motivated individuals who have their hearts into the endeavor.
If you sit down and establish a goal, it will be easier
to begin your fundraiser. Do a little informal research to see what is realistic
and outline the steps it will take you to get there.
It is best to have your final products in hand a couple
of weeks before a scheduled event. Order at least 4 to 5 weeks in advance to
avoid running into problems. Sometimes unforeseen hurdles pop up that delay
projects so don’t wait until the last minute to order.
You would be surprised at how many local businesses would
love the opportunity to participate in a fundraiser, AND advertise their company.
Their sponsorship can help you financially get off the ground. We can add a
company’s logo to most products at no extra cost, as long as we do not
exceed the 1-3 color rule. If you need an extra color we may be able to add
it for a small additional charge.
Speak with friends and family, colleagues, neighbors, local
trades people, your employer, business contacts, large commercial firms, clubs
and associations. Don’t forget to write down phone numbers and e-mail
addresses of the people who are interested in helping so that you can follow-up.
Speak to everyone you know to get their support.
A simple thank you letter goes a long way. It just may inspire
them to help you again with your next project!
